Product Rave: Eucerin Brand Creams

Earlier in the year, I visited a really nice dermatologist who helped me figure out what was going on with my skin. After my appointment, I came away with a diagnosis of sensitive skin and psoriasis!

Armed with this knowledge, I had to radically alter my facial skincare routine and learn to take extra precautions with my skin in general. As my dermatologist told me: I had beautiful skin! Once I started believing this and treating my skin in a way that respected it's 'issues', I have never felt better about my skin, ah (short for thank God in Arabic).

Before having this diagnosis, I had already begun introducing changes into my skin and bodycare routine that had helped me tremendously.

Which brings me to the subject of this blogpost:
EUCERIN brand creams

Count me obsessed with this brand. I was first recommended Eucerin by my doctor years ago, but did not follow up on her recommendation, until I began having more problematic skin issues. The first Eucerin item I purchased was their Original Lotion. This cream has a milky texture and is not greasy at all. In fact, it dries to a dry finish and works wonders. For those suffering from itchy, dry skin, this is the product for you. No other cream on the market that I know of compares.

I was so enamored with this brand that I recently decided to add to the collection!

I found Eucerin's 5% Urea Hand Cream to have worked better between the two, though both are great and will have similar results! With the Eucerin PLUS Intensive Repair Hand Creme, you do have to be mindful of the AHA in it, particularly as it may cause a reaction when exposed to the sun. I have not had any issues this past summer, so hopefully you will be fine too.

I haven't used the Eucerin Plus Intensive Repair Foot Creme very much yet, but I am sure I will get great results when I start to use it more regularly. My sister uses Eucerin Acquaphor for her lips and swears by it as the only product that moisturizes her lips!

The only problem with Eucerin products, I think, is that it will run you if you don't have too much money to spare. The Original Body Lotion is a good deal at Walmart for around $13-14. However, the 5% Urea Hand Cream cost me $11 for 75 ml. I searched far and wide and could not find this particular product anywhere else for cheaper. The Plus Intensive Repair foot and hand cremes, I purchased off amazon for around $4-5 each. The value of these items far exceeds the cost of them, which is to say that you'll be so satisfied with them that you won't think twice about doing what you have to do to acquire them! Haha

Any Eucerin products I'm missing out on?
