This is absolutely horrifying.
I can't imagine what kind of beasts would harm an animal like this and leave them to die. There is a world of cruelty and inhumanity that exists in regard to the treatment of animals that is just plain barbaric. I suppose our knowledge of atrocious human rights/life violations occurring at the rate they are today, should make a story like this less shocking. And yet, it does not.
